Job Title: Safety Manager – Civil Construction & Railroad Track Maintenance
Location: Baytown/Beaumont
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety programs for our
civil construction and railroad track maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving safety procedures to ensure a safe working
environment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures for all civil construction and railroad track maintenance projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FRA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Deliver safety orientation, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to all employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports, including injury logs, inspection reports, and training documentation.
• Serve as the primary safety liaison with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Support project managers and field supervisors with job hazard analysis and safety planning.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and safety leadership.
Qualifications:
• Must be Bilingual
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in civil construction and/or railroad maintenance environments.
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and industry standards (OSHA, FRA, DOT, ANSI, etc.).
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CHST, CSHO, OSHA 30/OSHA 510, FRA Roadway Worker Protection).
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites as required.
• Have a TWIC or able to obtain one.
• You must have a valid Drivers License and pass periodic drug, background, and clearance screenings (employment is contingent upon favorable results).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
